This website ("thebackfoot", "we", "us") is a personal blog. We try to collect as little information about you as possible. This page explains what is and isn't collected when you visit.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information such as your name or email unless you choose to send it to us — for example, by emailing us directly.
When you visit, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information that your browser sends to every website, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This is used only to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies
This site does not set its own tracking cookies. (Update this section if you later add analytics or embedded content that sets cookies.)
Third parties
Our site is hosted by thebackfoot.com, which processes the technical logs described above. We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to download them. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over any personal data we hold, such as the right to ask what we have and request its deletion. Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and similar laws may apply. To make a request, contact us at hello@thebackfoot.com.
